Photo Evidences
During the class, we could see the benefits of DSLR cameras, so I did some trying on taking the same picture with different resolutions and settings.
In the first picture on the left side, the photo aperture is in a wider depth of field when setting it up, the ISO is low, so the picture has low noise, and the shutter speed was around 1/250s and in a frozen movement.
In the second picture on the right side, the aperture was high- F22 or Deep DOF, the ISO was high- 6400/ High Noise and the Shutter speed was high too with 1s and a Blur movement.
The place of it was a park near where I am living that have many trees, flowers, and it is all uncovered so I could see the aspect of nature that I wanted to show it through my photographs, so I took the photos from and different principles of photography, angles and compositions like close-up, angles extremes and I used the rule of thirds for the photographs.
It was very safe to take photographs with no restriction because it is a public place. The photos were taken on a sunny morning and it was possible to take advantage of the natural lighting during the photo sessions and I used in some of the photographs the backlighting style.
I used my phone because with the new technology it gets to be helpful in a way that when I am taking photographs it is very similar to the DSLR camera, but the advantages are that I don't need to keep changing the camera resolutions and setting like when I am focusing on something and it would just blur the background with my phone, that means the algorithms decides which is the best resolutions for your photographs by itself. Then would be easier to carry it out in my pocket as the photographs were taken outside it is much safer than having a DSLR camera (Kevin Landwer-Johan, 2021).
Video Evidence
I have learned the importance of using professional pieces of equipment for filming our video production such as cameras, Tripod, lighting, and audio equipment.
That is why during the production of the video we use a professional 4K camera that was very important in giving a high-quality video image that makes it appear even more professional according to a television program. Also, it helps the camera operator a lot when shooting on the street, it will be easy to put all the settings very quickly and connect all the cables on the camera and a tripod so that the camera operator can feel better when exploring his creativity and move around for a better while filming (Bright Hub, 2021).
In addition to the image in the video, the quality of the audio is also very important even more when talking about sports and showing opinions from different people. The required audio system helped us require a good audio quality on the street by having good microphones that block the noises that are not wanted on the video (Bright Hub, 2021).
Finally, the lighting was very important and fundamental during the recording sessions in the studio because it gives a visual mood, atmosphere, and sense of meaning for the audience.
Social Media
The broadcast is shown on television, and then the video definition is a widescreen with a high-definition video that ensures that the television's viewer has a satisfying visual mood while watching something. As a broadcast, the way they present a program and how they show more serious content, and the clothes the presenters, reporters, and guests wear during the program can be very formal. Broadcasting on TV takes longer than a video found on social media platforms and can take about 45 minutes, and then the editing process is much longer than a Twitter, Instagram, or TIK TOK video.
What encourages young people to access Instagram, Twitter, and TIK TOK is the most casual, interesting, and short content that goes straight to the topic. In terms of presentation, this doesn't need much in the video because it can only be a summary of some programs that had important or fun parts, or there may be times when you don't have to act seriously in content such as dance or curiosity. The editing process is much faster. The image should be in a portrait format with a portrait aspect ratio with a high-quality image and in a TV broadcast.
With the technology growth, all the social media platforms have been a great way for Networks TV to promote their broadcast by posting videos, pictures, and interaction with their audience (Shrimoyee Chakraborty, 2021).
